ABOUT

Sisters Of… is an American post-metal duo based in the Kansas City, Missouri area. The band is the culmination of two lifelong friends writing and sharing ideas with no real idea of where it would lead. Aaron Coker, who is best known for his jaunts as drummer in bands such as the Appleseed Cast and Reggie and the Full Effect, began collecting guitar riffs and ideas in a style more removed from the likes of the groups he had been playing in. Chris Clark (Blackpool Lights) began collaborating with Aaron on the project and as Sisters Of… was born. The duo will also enlist childhood friend, Isaac Khan, to collaborate at times.

The band took their name from the Kansas City based band, Molly McGuire’s debut album “Sisters Of A Sacred Heart”.

Sisters Of… have been hailed by critics and fans alike. The band’s début EP “Follow Me as a Ghost” attracted national attention and in 2015 the band took their music to the next level with the release of “The Serpent, the Angel and the Adversary”. The album has received positive press from Decibel Magazine, Metal Hammer, Powerplay Magazine and Zero Tolerance. It was also named as one of the “Best of 2015… So Far” by MetalSucks columnist Excretakano.

While live performances are rare, the duo have enlisted the services of friends to round out the live sound. Live band members have included:
• RL Brooks – Guitar
• Derek White – Bass
• Beau Boehner – Drums
• Chris Renn – Bass
